Deeper Supplier Insights with BJÖRN

Learn how to get the most out of BJÖRN

BJÖRN operates at two levels:

  • Supplier — analysis of one named supplier, or a side-by-side comparison of two named suppliers.

  • Campaign— reporting on Campaign and Assessment activity across your whole supplier base.

BJÖRN at the Supplier Level

Single Supplier Analysis

Name any supplier, and BJÖRN works down through the full rating structure from the Global Rating to the attribute level.

Assessments, audits, and evaluation results and status are also available for analysis.

Supplier Comparative Analysis

BJÖRN can compare two suppliers by rating, rating area, attribute-level difference, or how each supplier answered the same question.

Rating History

For a named supplier, BJÖRN reports rating history at Global Rating, component rating, and rating-area level. Rating area trends draw on that supplier’s dated assessment responses, so they reflect the periods in which the supplier was assessed. Rating history reaches back as far as the supplier has been assessed, but depth varies: some suppliers have a long series, others only a point or two.

Trends for individual attributes and questions — these currently show only their current value; trends today go only as deep as Global Rating, component rating, and rating-area level

Long history windows — rating history builds from this release onward, so questions reaching back a year or more will return limited data for now

Examples of what you can ask BJÖRN at the supplier level:

  • What is the current Global Rating for [supplier]?

  • Show all rating areas for [supplier] and which is weakest.

  • What did [supplier] answer for the Health & Safety questions?

  • How has [supplier]’s Performance rating changed over recent months?

  • How has their Quality Performance rating area moved over time?

  • What were the findings from [supplier]’s most recent on(SITE) audit?

  • Compare [supplier 1] and [supplier 2] across all Operational Practices rating areas.

  • Provide a SWOT analysis of [supplier] based on profile and rating data, and then ask where the data came from.

BJÖRN at the Campaign Level

BJÖRN reports on Campaign and Assessment activity across all your suppliers: which suppliers have responded to a Campaign, its completion rate, and which assessments are currently open.

You can go deeper into any one supplier by giving BJÖRN their name.

Not yet available at the Campaign level

  • Ranking or filtering by attribute or rating-area score — e.g. “my top five suppliers for Health & Safety Compliance”, or “everyone rated below 60% on Quality Performance”. Ranking and filtering by the overall Global Rating across your base is available.

  • Finding suppliers with missing scores — e.g. which suppliers have no results yet for a given rating area

  • Spend history over time

  • Campaign invitation lists and overdue assessments — BJÖRN reports which suppliers have responded but not who was originally invited or which responses are overdue

Examples of what you can ask BJÖRN at the Campaign level:

  • Which suppliers have responded to the Q3 Sustainability campaign, and what is the completion rate?

  • Which assessments are currently open across our suppliers?

  • Across your supplier base:

  • Filtering and ranking suppliers by Global Rating, country and approval status

  • How many suppliers were added per month, quarter or year (optionally, you can ask for the suppliers by country)

  • Which suppliers have a renewal or contract date between two dates (where that field is populated)

  • Supplier property answers — stakeholders, flags, approval statuses, country, onboarding date, contact details, spend to date, and renewal dates — continue to work as before. Further capabilities are on the way in upcoming releases.
